This , considering it’s price, really checks all of the boxes I use this microphone to do voice overs and a twitch talk show. I have not been disappointed. Many people have complained about this, but no action is made by Audio Technica or Microsoft. Hi, I asked technical service of Audio Technica and they said that if the Mic is working in Windows and Cubase without MX61 drivers then they see no problem with Mic or the drivers.

Sorry, I cannot help you with AudioTechnica. I have no idea what you are supposed to do with that microphone, or even if you can use it inside a DAW. Either way, it’s money down the drain unless you can get a refund for W8.

A quick lookup on the web revealed that there are a multitude of issues with nearly all USB powered mics since the release of Windows A fan of Audio-Technica products I consulted with an audio expert and this mic was recommended. It shows in Device Manager as installed with an up to data technicw but is not available as an Audio Input Source anywhere including in Cubase 7.

I replaced the small travel stand with a drum kick mic stand, which works great. Settings for most pro recording software is done inside the program itself.

Other than that It works great! The microphone has been great! I spent a lot of money on this, and the quality has always been poor.
Any other Recording Software should have a Normalize option on any audio that’s inserted into the program. It is clearly Win 8’s fault, as on my Mac Book it works great, so now I’m in kind of a strange setup where I techhica video on the PC with win 8 and simultaneously doing recording on the macbook and then syncing I sent the overclock.

Couldn’t replicate it again today; at200 several frustrating hours, it still won’t work with Audacity. With following a few simple rules on recording audio the results are excellent!
The only fix is to digitally up the volume with all the hiss and hum that this brings with it. You may contact local Audio-Technica Global Division for further assistance.
Set it just like that…. I just plugged it in and it worked.
